About Us

Welcome on the „Barn Nowina” website

Barn Nowina is a newly built farm situated in the area of Notecka Primeval Forest. Our goal is to breed competition horses. Since our barn is beautifully located in the middle of woods and meadows, far away from noisy civilisation, our horses enjoy peace and quiet. Plenty of space contribute to their good mental and physical condition. The first horse came to my barn in 2001 and in 2003 the first foal of our breed was born.

In 2005, using our own resources and the European Union funds, we built a barn. Thanks to that we can provide our pupils with excellent living conditions.

... Location ...

Our barn is located in a little village called Nowina near Lubasz in Czarnkowsko-Trzcianecki county. Here we have many picturesque riding paths and our horses enjoy big paddocks and nice meads full of fresh grass. Meads, where our horses spend most of their time, are vast spaces where foals and youngsters can run freely, which gives them an excellent chance to grow up into healthy and happy horses.

... The Owner ...

The owner of the barn, Bartosz Wroński, is a young and sparky breeder and a vivid horse admirer. He devotes plenty of his time to his horses, which results in their reliance and friendliness towards people, making work with them a real pleasure. Most of the time he spends with foals and youngsters, which really makes further work with them very easy.

... The Barn ...

It is a new building – inside there are 17 stalls, of which 6 are 12m² broodmare stalls and 11 - 10,5m² regular stalls. The stalls are safe and provide horses with very good living conditions. We also have a horse-wash and rooms for feed and tack. Next to the stable there is a big training arena and a jumping corridor.

... My goal ...

My goal is to breed horses with high jumping potential, correct constitution and great health. We put lots of effort to make our horses feel happy in our barn. Our breeding is not about quantity, it is about quality. We give all our horses plenty of time and we do not save on good quality feed. It pays off in their great condition, both mental and physical.
